Thoughts about end of 08 and Feb 09

Hey Y'all -- Happy 4th of July to you.
It's time to think about Feb 09. Do you have any ideas on possible locations/Dates?
Last year we went two weeks after the Cov Midwinter conference. This year that would be Feb. 19 - 22. Technically, this would not count as "Lenten golf" as Lent begins on Feb. 25th with Ash Wednesday. I think we could live with the identity shift. Places? I like warm and sunny! Last year was great but it would be fun to have a "cement pond" to dive into after the round(s) are over. I loved the courses! Deals are important, too! If you have any ideas let me know.

On the East Coast we have a tradition of "equinoxical golf" where we go to Pilgrim Pines and stay there and play 36 at Bretwood Golf Courses in Keene on Monday, and then to Shattuck Inn on Tuesday and play 36. We arrive on Sunday night at the camp and get to stay there for a small donation. Most leave on Wed morning. The price of golf is very low and the courses are great! If you're interested in coming, you are invited as "charter members of the Lenten Golf group. This year we're looking at Sept. 28 (Sunday) - Oct. 1 (Wed).

Let's see if anyone is reading the blog and responds ....

Fore,
Tom
